Mon 25th July – Create your own cave painting using your hands with a blow effect (can get messy!)
Wed 27th July – What to Make Wednesday – bring in your recycling and see what you can create (we’ll also have some here!)
Friday 29th July – Make a prehistoric clay village
Sessions: 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm
Cost: £2 per child, with a valid annual pass
Suitable for ages 3+ (Children must be accompanied by an adult).

Tuesday 26th July & Thursday 28th July – 2 hr sessions
Ever wanted to live the life of the prehistoric people? Join us at Murton Park to explore how our ancestors lived through history. We’re running two hour living history experiences that allow visitors to step back in time and pretend to be somebody from the past.
Prehistoric activity sessions include:
- Beaker pot making – Make your own Neolithic beaker pot to take home
- Hunting talk and activity – Hunt to survive in a prehistoric world using spears
- Otzi Storytelling – Hear the story of a very special Neolithic man, frozen in time
Sessions: 10.30am-12.30pm & 1pm-3pm
Cost: £8 per person, with a valid annual pass (Children must be accompanied by an adult)
Suitable for ages: 7-77!
