Come and celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend with us! We’ve got something exciting planned everyday of the long weekend so get your party hats on and head down to Murton Park…
Thursday 2nd June – come and ride on our wonderful trains and let them take you back to a time when the railway was the power and backbone of the nation
Friday 3rd June – Jorfor’s Hall Viking reenactment group will join us on the Viking village. They will be demonstrating a range of crafts and skills from over 1,000 years ago and you’ll be able to walk through the village and experience the lives of our ancestors as well as marvel at Viking combat.
Saturday 4th June – the Trailblazer cowboys will be electing a new mayor for their town. Come and join in their celebrations!
Sunday 5th June – we’ll be having a street party and would love to see you there! Join in the fun and laughter and tuck into one of our delicious hampers (available to purchase from The Yorkshire Barn Café) or bring your own picnic to enjoy on site. Magician Professor Dan and the Makara Morris dancers will also be adding some magic to the party with shows throughout the day.
The event is free with a valid annual pass, however picnics must be pre-booked and paid in full (so we can get it freshly prepared for you!). Buy a Platinum Jubilee Celebration Picnic (digitickets.co.uk)
