Our Living History sites are used for educational days during the week. They are open to the public at weekends.
A member of the Murton Park team will visit your school in full costume appropriate for the time period being studied. There are several options of presentations and full activity days covering a wide range of historical periods linking to the Primary History curriculum.
All options include a lively and interesting talk using replica artefacts as prompts with questions and answers throughout the session. If you would like a full day session, the afternoon will be filled with a round of usually four activities and include a mixture of craft activities, object handling and hands-on tasks. Timings can usually be tailored to fit around your school timetable.
All resources for the presentation and activities are provided and mess taken away, all we ask is that you provide a suitable ground floor space for this to take place. We will also need access to a nearby parking space.
Price: £280 + VAT. Maximum 90 pupils. Our talks last approx. half a day.
