Mon 22nd August – Make an aeroplane
Wed 24th August– What to Make Wednesday – bring in your recycling and see what you can create (we’ll also have some here!)
Friday 26th August– Make a suncatcher
Sessions: 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm
Cost: £2 per child, with a valid annual pass (Children must be accompanied by an adult)
Suitable for ages 3+

Tuesday 23rd August & Thursday 25th August – 2 hr sessions
Ever wanted to learn more about WW2? Join us at Murton Park to explore how our ancestors lived through history. We’re running two hour living history experiences that allow visitors to step back in time and pretend to be somebody from the past.
Homefront activity sessions include:
- ARP Stirrup Pump – put out a fire with 1940s technology
- Home Guard drill – train to repel the invasion of Britain with broom handles!
- Wash Day – wash clothes the old-fashioned way, and dry them with a mangle
Sessions: 10.30am-12.30pm & 1pm-3pm
Cost: £8 per person, with a valid annual pass (Children must be accompanied by an adult)
Suitable for ages: 7-77!
