Murton Park is looking for a Living History Interpreter

• To deliver all aspects of our school living history learning programme on site, in schools and on line. Working individually, remotely or as part of a team, to act as support or lead character. Actively develop and maintain a good level of appropriate subject knowledge. Care for and maintain props, materials and costumes to ensure a high standard of presentation. High levels of record keeping required.
• To undertake the delivery of the museum learning and engagement programme
for the general public and museum vistors.
• To work on Reception/Front of House as required.
• To undertake other duties when required to support the maintenance/upkeep of
the site.

• Clean Driving Licence Required
• Willingness to work remotely
• Excellent communication skills
• Educated to Graduate/Post Graduate level/Teaching qualification
• Good level of subject knowledge
• First Aid Accreditation
• Enhanced DBS disclosure

• Part time (including some weekend work) possibly leading to full time
• Pay Range £9.00 – £11.00 per hour
• Closing Date – 30th April 2021.
