With our own Museum, Railway, Animals, Playground and extra special Living History Sites (where you can even explore life as a Viking or Roman) we have something here for everyone. Whether you are a history lover, train enthusiast, explorer, lover of small and furry animals, or just have a lot of energy to burn… Murton Park is where history and fun come alive…

The Yorkshire Museum of Farming was established to collect, document, display, research and preserve material relating to farming.



A volunteer run heritage railway with passenger services. Rides on the DVLR are included in the admission to Murton Park.

There are a variety of animals kept on site and include pigs, goats, ponies, a variety of sheep, poultry and ducks.

Created for a range of ages and includes toy pedal tractors, with surrounding picnic tables and green space.
