Wood Carving course
On this practical 2 day hands-on wood carving course, you will use traditional wood carving techniques to carve a design in lime wood. No previous experience is required; you will be able to work at your own pace on a range of potential projects suitable for different experience levels. Stage-by-stage instructions and demonstrations will guide you through every element of the process toward a high-quality finished carving. All tools, materials, and equipment are provided.
The course runs over two consecutive days from 10 am until 4 pm including tea breaks, light refreshments are available throughout the day. Lunch break is about 1 pm, there is a cafe on site or you may bring your own lunch.
Geraint Lloyd the tutor has 25 years’ experience working in a commercial setting, carving architectural and sculptural pieces together with teaching at events, and shows each year. Geraint is a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE.
