- Compare modern household items to ones from the past and have a go at using some
- Discover everyday recipes and take home your favourite ones to try
The story of Beowulf read in the Long House. FREE with an annual pass.
in the Viking Village. Day includes a wattle and daub demo, storytelling at 11am & 2pm – story of Alfred the Great – and bone working, woodworking and, Anglo-Saxon writing techniques and manuscripts. Optional brooch making at £2 per person (payable on the day).
