Meet the Evacuation Officer at the train station before taking a train ride along the track and back. Head to the museum to learn about the Land Girls and some objects from the war, as well as a make do and mend display with Glynnis and Tony. There will also be a dummy Homeguard rifle drill on the grassed area of the park. Optional; make a Morse code bracelet £2 per person (payable on the day).
Living History Crafts – 10.30am-12.30pm each day
Choose from a number of history crafts:
- Design your own body armour
- Decorate and assemble a wooden medieval carriage
- Decorate and assemble a wooden knight on a horse
- Decorate and assemble a wooden castle
