Park Blog

Murton Park Blog

Murton Park truly is, for everyone. It preserves farming in its Four Seasons Museum. It provides a playground for the young and young at heart.  It embraces history through educational days and re-enactment events. It is host to a number of living history sites (a Roman fort, a Viking village and a WW2 evacuee centre), and is home to the Derwent Valley Light Railway.

With such a huge offering, we have introduced this blog to make sure that everything and everyone gets its turn in the limelight and hopefully in turn, offers you something enjoyable to read!
